work overview

In short, I write words that are used for the marketing of products or services. And sometimes I contribute editorials for magazines.
So, rather than read a list of the assets I can handle, please jump to my work gallery here, or read some case studies here, or continue below to see my areas of expertise.

fashion + interiors

I've worked with youth, high street and luxury brands as a writer, editor and consultant. Recent jobs included developing copy strategy and content for Urban Coo interiors and the role of editor at Us of America magazine.

Bluewater magazine wanted copy for advertorials which would inspire customers to explore their offer, read the features here

At Us of America magazine we explored the untold side of fashion. Read a piece about vintage denim mining here

drinks

I've worked with spirits, beers, softs and water brands as both a strategist and writer. In 2006, I was "style director" for Peroni and conceived the Vogue Italia partnership; helped launched Drench water and then worked on whiskies including Laphroaig, Ardmore and Ballantine's.

For five years, I specialised in working with scotch whiskies. Marketing copy and press releases can be found here

I was commissioned to write a feature for a travel website about whisky. Read the feature here

A drinks client needed a written advertorial copy for Look magazine, read the copy here

tech + charity

Writing copy for the lifestyle sector has led to my working with tech, charity and third sector businesses that want a lifestyle tone-of-voice for products or services. Follow this link to see case studies from these sectors
