Vue Lab

digital web content for tech product launch

NYC creative agency, Luckeyou, needed written content to launch their tech platform,  Vue Lab. Together we developed a copy strategy for the brand.

I started by working-up a choice of directions which varied from direct and corporate to upbeat and innovative. The different approaches were assessed in context and one was chosen. Next, I looked at the key messages that needed to be conveyed and transformed them using chosen tone-of-voice.

Next I developed copy and content in the chosen style - preferred wordings were decided and vital search terms included in clear and consistent ways. A collection of preferred (and vetoed) words was developed, a list of terms and phrases that fitted with the brand theme.

Content for the launch website included a succinct and punchy landing page with a compelling story journey for prospective buyers. Content was accompanied by case studies and thought-leadership blogs that amplified the people and work credits for teh business. The website also benefited from graphics and imagery in-place of words, with short guiding copy only where needed.

"Kate gets to the heart of what we want to say. She picks up a brand's personality quickly, then provides us with various creative approaches to achieve copy perfect for our needs. Content is always delivered on-brief and to agreed timelines -  we find her approachable and easy to work with - and have no hesitation recommending her."
